Loop Growers

Farm to Belly

GIVING BACK

Loop Growers is a bio-intensive market garden, located 30km North-West of Brisbane in Samford. The farm, run by Phil and Alice, works with a tight knit community of cafes, restaurants, bars and local businesses to cultivate abundant yields on a weekly basis. Not only that, the farm collects any excess organic materials to feed the worms, richen the soil and maintain a closed cycle that reduces our carbon footprint.

DID YOU KNOW?

Australia discards four million tonnes of food each year, and Australian businesses make up roughly one quarter of that amount. Mishandling food scraps directly impacts the health of the planet by creating powerful and toxic greenhouse gas emissions, and with climate change lingering on everyone's minds, it's a no brainer that the hospitality industry must prioritise the ever growing landfill capacity crisis.

Loop Growers Farm reuses the following of our excess materials:

Eggshells

Food Scraps

Coffee Grind

Milk
